• Pressure washed the whole house and let it dry overnight. Peeling at the south gable and the back porch ceiling. Weather: Clear, light wind.
• Lead-safe setup on the south and west sides: plastic on the ground, windows closed, wet scraping only. Cleaned up with the HEPA vacuum and wet wipes before leaving. Weather: Sunny, cool morning.
• Scraping and sanding finished. Brackenholt Carpentry replaced the fascia and two window sills in the allowance; we replaced the extra fascia under CO-1. The owners asked about a second trim color for the sashes; CO-2 sent. Weather: Partly cloudy. Delays: Sash color waits on the owners' answer to CO-2.

A painting proposal in the demo: Exterior repaint, ranch house

Lacquerwren Painters sent it to a lead. The scope reads:

Wash, scrape and sand with lead-safe work practices (the house was built in 1962), spot-prime bare wood, caulk open joints, two coats on the body and trim, front door and shutters in a contrasting color, daily cleanup, then a blue-tape walkthrough and touch-up. Colors are chosen on a signed color schedule after sample boards.
