An irrigation proposal in the demo: New 8-zone system with drip beds
Dewlantern Irrigation sent it to a lead. The scope reads:
Design and install an 8-zone system: five spray and rotor zones for the lawn, three drip zones for the beds, a pressure vacuum breaker with its permit, a smart controller with a rain and freeze sensor, a sleeve under the front walk, trench restoration and an owner walk-through with the zone chart.
The notes on that lead:
- Neighbor of the Faraday install; asked for a design

- Sent the proposal with the zone layout
Other irrigation leads in the demo
- Zone 3 not running: Zone 3 does not come on, though the controller shows it running

Questions about SelfConstruct for irrigation work
Is there an irrigation version of SelfConstruct?
Not as a separate product. Dewlantern Irrigation opens with the business type “Irrigation & sprinklers”, so its menus are set for that trade. In a customer's company today, the menus are the same whatever the trade.
Can an irrigation job be fixed price or time and materials?
Both are in the demo: Dewlantern Irrigation's “Okonkwo spring start-up, 9 zones” is a fixed-price job, and “Baptiste zone valve repair” is billed time and materials.
Does SelfConstruct have “Your trade's recurring visits and agreements” for irrigation companies yet?
Not yet. It is on the list the demo's welcome card shows under “Not available yet for your trade”.
